These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether personally or on behalf of an entity) and Literating India Foundation (a Non-Profit Civic Initiative operating in Amritsar, Punjab), concerning your access to and use of our website, web applications, event check-in systems, and digital literacy tools.

Literating India Foundation operates exclusively for public charitable and educational purposes in the fields of digital empowerment, cyber safety literacy, and grassroots community development.

• Zero Commercial Charges: Every community workshop, school camp, event admission, and printed educational guide is 100% free for all citizens.
• No Financial Transactions: This website does not sell merchandise, charge subscription fees, or collect commercial payments. Any donation of refurbished hardware or volunteering is coordinated strictly without commercial exchange.

3. Intellectual Property & Open Educational Licensing

We believe that basic digital literacy is a fundamental public right. Our intellectual property is structured to maximize public benefit:

• Curriculum & Educational Guides: Unless otherwise specified, all workshop slide decks, vernacular pocket guides, and public safety checklists are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). You are free to share and adapt these materials for non-commercial educational purposes, provided attribution is given to Literating India Foundation.
• Trademarks & Brand Assets: The “Literating India Foundation” name, flame emblem logo, official seals, and custom website software are proprietary assets of the Foundation and may not be used to endorse commercial products or create misleading affiliations without prior written authorization.

When utilizing our website or interactive forms, you agree not to:

• Submit fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading information through our contact, volunteer, or event registration forms.

6. Event Registration, Passes & Minor Participation

Participation in Foundation events is governed by the following rules:

• Free Admission: All admission passes issued via QR code or SMS/email are complimentary and strictly non-transferable for monetary gain.
• Participants Under 18 Years of Age: Registrations for students or minors must be submitted with affirmative parental or legal guardian consent in compliance with Section 9 of the DPDP Act 2023.
• Admission Rights: The Foundation and host venue partners reserve the right to refuse entry or ask any attendee to leave if their conduct disrupts peaceful educational instruction or endangers community safety.
